SEA-U is a clean, thoroughly upgraded J/105 that has called Chicago home since she was new. She has spent her entire life in fresh water and has been stored indoors every winter, which shows in her condition. While she has been campaigned single-handed for the past decade, her sail inventory was purchased to class specifications, making her ready for one design racing, short-handed events, or a spirited cruise on Lake Michigan from day one.

The current owner has invested consistently in the boat: a modern B&G electronics suite with Triton displays and a Simrad autopilot, a nearly new Quantum class asymmetric and Code 0 (both with only a handful of uses), updated running rigging, a refurbished Martec prop, and freshly replaced Jefa rudder bearings. She is not a project, she is a boat you can step aboard and sail competitively this season.
